Addition Facts for 0 Worksheets

Reminders & Tips for - Addition Facts for 0 worksheets:
  • A Reminder: zero is actually nothing.

  • A Tip: adding a zero is actually not adding anything. What would you say if you had three apples and ask for more from me - and I decide to not give you any = you'd still have three apples. :-)

  • A Comment: Honestly, you don't really have anything to practice here, except to become aware that nothing changes when you add or subtract a zero. There was always much ado about "nothing" (zero) throughout history, but you shouldn't worry about that now. In multi-digit numbers zero is a placeholder (you have to tell a difference between 11 and 101), and by itself it's a representation of "nothingness".
